type: black

ingredients: black tea natural flavor rind of oranges sweet spice

price level: $$$$

The Bigelow original. No recipe makes us prouder. To this day members of the Bigelow family are still the only ones who blend this secret recipe of black tea, rind of oranges and sweet spice. One sip and you will know there is still no tea like itâ?¦ take a whiff then enjoy the one and only "Constant Comment".

One of my favorites. I get the decaf and the flavor remains true. I highly recommend this tea. Great evening relaxer.

a sweet orange cup of spicy goodness, sometimes going back to classics is a good thing, this is the best of the classics in my book

My mom used to make this for me when I was 4. I sit here now at nearly 40 with boxes of it in the cupboard now. Sweet in and of itself, and smooth enough that I feel no need to add milk. A good black tea for people who don't like black tea!

This is strong and flavorful, smells delicious. I can't drink too much back to back because of the caffeine, but sometimes I just need the comforting smell and taste.

This is a delicious walk down memory lane. Mom always had this while I was growing up. A unique flavor all to its own with no comparison. Still love it.

As a young person in the 1960's, I hated tea. In those days, the only tea I would encounter was Lipton. Then in the 1970's, a girlfriend would take me to Chinese restaurants, and of course we would have tea. I had to load it up with sugar, but I developed a taste for "Chinese Restaurant Tea." About the same time, another friend introduced me to Constant Comment. It was the first tea that I liked for itself. Lots of flavor, but not overpowering. Not bitter, and a teaspoon of sugar per cup is enough. I've had an empty foil pouch sitting on my table to remind me to write a review. Even the empty pouch smells good. :-) Over the years, I've tried a few other brands and flavors ... liked some, didn't like some. But I always know Constant Comment will taste good. If I can only recommend one tea to someone, it will be Constant Comment. :-)

This is my go to tea when I am waiting for my next loose leaf shipment or if I am out of town and need a pick me up. This is the tea that started my obsession with tea and tea houses. This a tried and true classic flavor.

One of the first teas I really like. Great fruity, sweety flavor, just always reminds me of family gatherings where it was on offer. Drinking it feels very cozy.

This tea just says "Christmas" to me. That's what it reminds me of; winter and Christmastime, because that's usually when Mom used to have it in the house.

Cheery, bright Christmas tea. I don't drink it as much as I used to, having moved on mainly to loose-leaf, but it's still nice once in a while.

    • 

Before I discovered loose tea, this was my go-to tea! It is priced great and I still find it very tasty, but in general I prefer loose tea rather than teabags.

Growing up, this was a fancy tea to me with the myriad of warming flavors and mysterious name. I've since moved away from this budget friendly brand, but have fond memories of this tea.

Really enjoy drinking this black tea. The slight hints of orange. It’s a tea that gets me going in the morning all year long.

I love this tea. It’s one of the best grocery store options- lots of flavor packed in one tiny bag. Just the right spice/orange/tea ratios.

While I typically do not drink from tea bags, I love constant comment. I like to drink it all year round though it is even better in the fall. My go-to morning cup

One of my favorite teas in a teabag. I was pleasantly surprised by the spice and delicious flavor this tea provided - one of their signature teas.

    • 

A decent spiced black tea as far as bagged teas go. It's good for a quick steep when you just want a bit of spice.

This is really nostalgic. As a kid, I drank it with my mom every time we went to a hotel, once I was allowed to have caffeine

The name seemed intresting enough but in the end it felt like any other black tea.

My mom always drank this stuff. It's alright, it's a black tea, but it's a little astringent and heavier than plain black tea. Just has a lot going on. 3/5

A good black tea with a bite. It’s great for cold winter days.

    • 

This is one of my favorite bagged teas. The mix of orange and spice is quite a lovely mix. It reminds me of orange and spice pomanders.

    • 

This is a wonderful tea! It tastes like Christmas-oranges, cloves, cinnamon and spice! I enjoy this tea iced in the summer. One of my favorite teas year around!

    • 

One of my oldest beloved favorites. I think both of my grandmothers used to keep it around when I was little, and my mom kept it around from time to time too.

The orange is always very strong, and the spices add a nice kick. It can get bitter and almost pine-y if you steep it too long, but even then just add some cream and sugar and it's still good!

Years ago, this was the first tea I tried that I actually liked. The orange and spice pair in a calming way that's not too overwhelming. A solid choice for a lower price tea.

I wanna really love this tea. It smells wonderful upon opening the packet, but I can never quite get what I want out of a cup. I enjoy but not as much as I would like to.

This is the perfect christmas tea. The orange peel compliments the black tea and clove perfectly, and this reminds me of my grandma so the memory makes it extra delicious.

I absolutely love this tea. I use my fancier Adiago teas at home but this is my go-to at the office. The black tea with a hint of citrus, pair with a little half and half gets my work day off to a promising start!
