Bold, powerful black tea from the Assam region of India. A deep, burgundy-red cup and roasted grain aroma, malty rich flavor with notes of raisins. Pungent but smooth astringency, making this tea an ideal cup to pair with milk and sugar. This outstanding Assam comes from a favorite garden of ours, Mangalam Estate. Steep at 212°F for 3-5 minutes

This is a good, strong black tea. I added oat milk and stevia.

One of my favorite black teas! Bold yet smooth flavor. Perfect hot or cold. Distinctive flavor. A staple plain black tea in my tea stash!

A go to favorite to get a change from earl greys. A bit stronger, but on those chill winter mornings, it is just right.

An excellent black tea for mornings. Malty but no bitterness.

This was a lovely black. Strong and malty but not bitter. As with other blacks I smooth it out with milk and sugar.

A rich, bold yet smooth black tea with subtle malty notes. As this tea steeped it had a cozy, warm aroma and was simply delicious on its own.

I grabbed the salt in my tired haze, luckily it made the tea smack even harder! 10/10

I have tried the assam melody already and found it very lovely. I drink my teas with no milk or sugar. This one is a little less malty and more like the orange pekoe I'm used to, but much richer! It tastes more chocolatey than raisiny as the description suggests. This is definitely a very nice high-quality black tea that I would eagerly drink again.

I much prefer Adgaio's cheaper Assam, Assam Melody. This one is a little too honeyed for me. I didn't take any sugar in mine but if I did it would've been too sweet for me.

Found that this tea did not turn bitter when steeped. I usually need sugar in my black teas but found this tea to be perfect on its own with no sugar, cream or lemon required.

An outstanding, bold tea. The maltiness is a lovely partner for milk and sugar, making it a perfect morning tea.

This tea is fine. I enjoy black tea in the morning for the caffeine, so I was excited to try this tea. However, I did taste any of the flavors Adagio described. I added cream and sugar as was recommended and I wonder if that overwhelmed the other flavors. In the end, I didn't feel like this tea was special enough for me to want to order any more.

This is really a classic Assam black tea. But I didn’t notice the declared notes of roasted plantains, molasses, dates and pleasantly malty in the flavor.

This is a great tea for when I need an energy boost in the afternoon!

The tea leaves had a light scent of earthy dew and moss. On the tongue this tasted quite sweet but also acidic. The aftertaste is short and carries flavors of molasses and maple syrup. I would have enjoyed this tea if not for the strong acidic notes that put me off.

This tea is fantastic. The only one I like better as far as straight black teas go is Assam Melody.

Good tea, as I favor Assam teas, but I actually enjoyed Assam Melody better.

One of my favorite teas! Happy that I was able to try a sample, but would definitely purchase a larger quantity in the future. Great flavor and color!

Really zen, non-astringent tea. A go to of mine, though I do prefer Assam Melody, but only just.
