Decent, but not great compared to a lot of other spiced teas Simpson & Vail has. It's not bad, but the cinnamon is the only thing you can really pick up on and it kind of tastes like pulverized stale cinnamon like in Constant Comment or something. Still enjoyable enough, but a bit below the bar for a higher quality loose leaf.

Just seems like a mild cinnamon tea to me. Maybe I just don't know what black walnut is supposed to taste like, but all I'm really picking up on is cinnamon.
