The tea season starts in Hunan just before the Ching Ming festival at the end of March. This green tea is from that prized season. Light & fresh - a great start to the 2018 tea season.

    Aroma is similar to a good sencha. Flavor is a bit less potent than aroma, but still good, still very reminiscent of a sencha. There is some light astringency and bitterness, but nothing particularly intense.

    The tea is not worth the extremely high price being asked for it, though.
