  • Melonberry Green

    

Lots of interesting looking fruits in this dried tea. The initial smell once I cold brewed it seemed a bit weedy to me. Sadly, I couldn't detect flavor from any of the fruits in this, it just tasted like green tea water.

  • White Ayurvedic Chai

    

This one doesn't taste like a traditional Chai to (due to the lack of cloves). It does have a lovely cinnamon flavor with a little something else happening too. If I had to described the flavor in just two words, I'd call it "cinnamon water".

  • Blackberry Sage Oolong

    

The tea that got my brother to drink iced tea! My brother's not a big tea fan, but after trying just a tiny sip of this to be polite, he then poured himself a big cup of it! It's got a nice berry tea with a surprising burst of sage. Is flavorful even after multiple cold brew steeps. And according to an article on Adagio Tea's website, the shelf life of Oolong teas might last up to 50 years. That's an oolong time to enjoy this great tea.

  • Calypso Green

    

The yellow pieces in the dried tea look interesting and lend it a tropical smell. Once it was cold brewed though, I only detected the taste of the green tea vs the additional flavors. It's a pleasant tea if you like green teas like me, but didn't do anything to distinguish itself for me.

  • Fruit Medley

    

Wonderful iced tea that's refreshing year round. In the dried tea the strawberries and cherries are prominent, but once brewed all the flavors blend together pleasantly.

  • Pumpkin Potion

    

If you like high caffeine black teas and rooibos, this is the tea for you. Adorable tin and cute pumpkins and sprinkles added. Unfortunately those flavors aren't my cute of tea personally though.

  • Cocomint Green

    

A nice minty tea with hints of chocolate. I appreciate that it wasn't overwhelmingly minty like some green mint teas can be. Is nice iced with a little sweetener.

  • Wild Strawberry

    

YUM!! The dried and steeped tea had a wonderful (expected) strawberry smell. I cold brewed mine overnight, and gave it a touch of sweetener. Delicious fruity tea that is refreshing in the summer and enjoyable year round.

  • Raspberry Green

    

The berries were notable right from the start, could smell them even in the dried tea. I cold brewed this and added a little Stevia for sweetness. Delicious green tea taste with a raspberry jam like finish.

  • Papaya Pouchong

    

The dried tea has a light tropical papaya smell. I cold brewed it overnight. The tea tasted like a rather typical green tea, with a bit of a grassy flavor. Sadly, I couldn't taste the papaya flavor coming through at all.

  • Berry Creme Compote

    

An enjoyable fruity tea that is great as a cold brew. The bright taste reminded me of a fruit punch, but without any of the chemical/fake flavors that some have. Refreshing in summertime and year round.

  • Ali Shan

    

The round green bubbles of tea were cute in the packet. The smell was simple and like a standard green tea. It had a strong flavor when cold brewed overnight, and reminded me of the taste of Gunpowder Green Tea. So if you're a fan of Gunpowder tea, this one is for you.

  • Honeybush Blueberry Pancake

    

The dried tea smelled lightly of maple syrup. Once brewed at boiling, the tea had a hint of blueberry taste, but primary tasted like maple syrup. Very sweet on it's own and didn't need any additives.

  • Honeybush Banana Nut

    

I don't know how Adagio did it, but this tea tastes like liquid banana bread. I can taste banana, cinnamon, and nutty taste all in this tea. Sweet enough on it's own didn't need anything additional. I preferred it warm when the banana flavor stood out more.

  • Maple Creme Oolong

    

The dried tea smells like maple sugar candy. When I brewed it (at boiling), the tea tasted like weak maple syrup. Decent on it's own, but pairs really well with other tea flavors.

  • Almond Oolong

    

The dried tea smelled like almond extract to me, and it had a light almond taste. I liked the flavor better then the almond black tea, but it's still not something I'd reach for plain. I expect it would good well when mixed in with another tea.

  • Valentines

    

The dried tea smelled delicious like chocolate and strawberry. Unfortunately the strawberry taste disappeared after I steeped the tea. Chocolate piece was still prominent and yummy, but sad the strawberry flavor wasn't there.

  • Green Chai

    

Dried tea smelled like cloves and cinnamon as expected from a chai tea. I found the chai taste not as strong as one with a black tea base, but still delicious chai flavor. A great one if you want a lighter chai or want to introduce someone new to this tea style.

  • Kentucky Bourbon

    

Very strong smell of bourbon when this is brewed. I found the taste to be like weak bourbon, but I didn't care for it. Though if you like bourbon, you'll probably love this tea.

  • Arabica Mocha

    

I didn't like this tea. Tastes like a coffee/tea hybrid but didn't really do well at either of them.

  • Cat Scratch

    

I liked the cute tin and theme of this tea a lot! Unfortunately I found the taste was a rather middle-of-the-road black tea. The fun additional accents didn't seem to add much flavoring to the tea.

  • Tiger Eye

    

I cold brewed this tea (as i do most of my teas) and added some Stevia. I found it to smell like when you tour a brewery - very hop-py. I couldn't detect the chocolate or vanilla tastes in this, just the caramel. Okay tea, just not my cup of tea on it's own.

  • White Blueberry

    

Light blueberry smell was noticed when I opened the package. I steeped this overnight in the fridge and added a little Stevia. I could only taste a hint of blueberry in the final tea, and the white tea flavor wasn't something that really came through to me.

  • Golden Turmeric Chai

    

No way you can miss the strong smell of Turmeric when you open this package. Per the recommendation of CommuniTea, I steeped this tea in a saucepan of milk. Very unique flavor and pleasing presentation in the milk that makes this a standout tea. Be sure to pay attention to the recommended serving size - originally I added more than the recommendation, and it was too strong.

  • Earl Grey Bella Luna

    

When opening the package, the smell of the cornflower and perhaps Bergamot comes forth. The floral flavor is what sticks out to me the most, and lingers after each sip. Good for an Earl Grey, but not my fave.

  • Thai Chai

    

Nice subtle ginger flavor comes through when steeping this tea. The ginger taste really shines when it's hot. Mixes well with other tea flavors.

  • Autumn Apple

    

I love all the large apple bits that you can see right away in the tea mix, and the clove-y smell. Warm, complex flavor where each sip brings out a different element: I taste apple! I taste cinnamon! I taste ginger! I taste cardamom! Has a spicy aftertaste from the powerful cloves. The mix makes me feel like I m drinking Apple Pie Spice or Pumpkin Pie Spice, which I'm all for. One of my fave teas!

  • Green Popcorn

    

I really enjoy genmai cha tea, so this green popcorn one was great. Nutty smelling and smooth tasting. I cold brewed mine overnight, is wonderful iced. I got this tea on sale and it s a great deal for an excellent tea.

  • Fiery Cinnamon Spice

    

Tastes like drinking red hots candy, which I love. Full of long lasting flavor. One of my new fave teas!

  • portions sampler - green teas

    

Wonderful sampler of Adagio's top green teas. Great way to see which ones are your fave. Would make a great gift for a tea loving friend.

  • Coconut Grove Pouchong

    

Nice subtle coconutty flavor and smell in this tea. I enjoyed it both hot and iced equally. Mixes well with other teas to make your own fun blends.

  • Blood Orange

    

Wonderful orange smell upon opening the package. Strong orange flavor and a bright orange color once brewed. Refreshing tea that is really great iced.

  • White Hibiscus Passionfruit Iced Tea

    

Nice fruit flavor, but I would have liked it to be stronger flavor. Good combination of tastes for an iced tea. I cold brewed mine in the fridge overnight, and the bags it comes in worked well for doing that for multiple steeps.

  • Blueberry Lavender Daily Beauty Iced Tea Pouches

    

Excellent taste and a refreshing iced tea. The bags it comes with are great for steeping larger batches multiple times easily. Excellent option for a bagged grocery store tea. I did notice a bit more dust/little floaty bits in the bottom of my jar than I do when brewing full loose leaf teas, so I detracted 1/2 point for that.

  • Chun Mee Superior Green Tea

    

Solid green tea, although the taste isn't very exciting. Was able to steep 5 times still with lots of flavor all the way through. A nice option for someone looking to try out green teas.

  • Apple Green

    

Solid fruity flavor and pleasant smell. Works great both hot or iced with just a hint of sweetener. Was able to get 4 steeps from this tea with great strong flavor all the way through.

  • Sencha Green Tea

    

Excellent flavorful Green tea. Pleasant smell dried and after brewing. Stands really well on it's own, or with a hint if sweetener. One of Heavenly Tea's best Teas in my opinion.

  • Peppermint Herbal Tea

    

Waaaaaayyyyyy too strong peppermint smell dry and brewed and taste. It tasted just as I'd expect drinking a cup of straight peppermint leaves would taste - very very peppermint. Could be nice if mixed with another green tea to balance out the flavor perhaps.

  • Rose Black Tea

    

Very pleasant Rose smell in the dried tea as well as after brewed. Unfortunately, there wasn't a whole lot to taste with this tea beyond Black tea with light rose flavor. Might be a good base to pair with another tea or additional flavors to amp up the taste profile.

  • Minty Morning Black Tea

    

Overwhelmingly Minty in both smell and taste. It felt like I was drinking toothpaste or mouthwash. I don't care for Mint Teas in general, but this was one of the least pleasant ones I've had.

  • Herbal Cleanse

    

A clean and refreshing tea with nice flavor. Not a lot of strong flavors, so could mix well with other teas to make something truly unique.

  • Genmaicha Japan Green Tea

    

A very pleasant green tea taste. Has toasted brown rice which I can smell as I drink it which is a little like smelling cereal, but the taste is good. Really good green tea flavor as the base in addition to the rice. Got in Heavenly Tea Leaves 9 tea sampler which is a great way to try out their teas.

  • Jasmine Green Tea

    

Nice flavor, a solid Jasmine tea. I got this aspart of their 9 tea sampler pack, which I recommend as a great way to see which flavors of Heavenly Tea Leaves you like. I cold brew mine overnight in the fridge and add a little stevia which gives time for the flavor to bloom.

  • CONSTANT COMMENT BLACK TEA BAGS

    

Growing up, this was a fancy tea to me with the myriad of warming flavors and mysterious name. I've since moved away from this budget friendly brand, but have fond memories of this tea.

  • LEMON GINGER HERBAL TEA

    

A nice herbal tea where neither the lemon or ginger really hit you over the head. I enjoyed it back in my 20s when I had a tight budget as a soothing tea for a sore throat or cold. I still have some in my house for guests who just want something simple.

  • SPICED CHAI BLACK TEA BAGS

    

This was my gateway Chai tea where I first learned I liked those flavors together. Now that I've tried fancier brands like Adagio's Chai there's no going back. But a decent option if you're just starting out with teas or on a budget.

  • RED RASPBERRY TEA BAG

    

Decent fruity flavor, though I wish it was stronger and punchier on the raspberry-ness. I keep these on hand to serve to my family who's used to inexpensive grocery store teabag brands and for some crazy reason prefer them to my fancy Adagio flavors.

  • EARL GREY

    

I keep this on hand to serve to my family that is used to very basic black tea bags from the grocery store. Decent for what it is and the price point, but definitely not my personal go to flavor or brand. Obligatory Jean Muc Picard reference here.

  • MINT MEDLEY

    

I normally don't like Mint teas, but this one is mild enough flavor that I enjoy it once sweetened a little. I do like that their tea in the bags seem to be less smashed up and more aromatic than a lot of grocery store tea bag brands.

  • LUNG CHING DRAGONWLL GREEN TEA

    

Nice tasting green tea that can stand on it's own - which not all green teas can. I like their clear tea pyramids so you can see the tea through it (even though it looks like lawn cuttings), and the tin keeps it nice and fresh and easy to store.

  • GENMAICHA GREEN GREEN TEA

    

I really like Genmaicha teas in general, and this one was no exception. Solid flavorful tea that tastes like I expect. I made mine by cold brewing overnight in the fridge and adding a little sweetener.

  • STRAWBERRY CREAM GREEN TEA

    

Pleasant and light fruity flavor. The flavor does need to be stronger though, maybe with a different base tea or the addition of more strawberries or fruit flavor. I made this by cold brewing in the fridge overnight.

  • assam black tea

    

Boring black tea that reminded me of inexpensive tea bags served at restaurants. Would be a decent base for a mix with some other flavoring, but on it's own there wasn't much happening flavor wise.

  • pomegranate white

    

Nice light and fruity flavor, one of the better white teas I've had. I made mine cold brewed in the fridge overnight with a little bit of sweetener.

  • Rooibos Pecan Turtle

    

The Pecan Turtle part of the tea is good and I like that part of the flavor. But I think I don't like the way Rooibos teas in general taste, I'm more of a black or green tea person. Has a weird flavor and aftertaste to me, which again is probably the Rooibos.

  • Masala Chai

    

One of my very fave teas! A strong spicy Chai with lots of cardamommy and clovey taste in it that tastes fantastic even on the fourth steeping. Warm and rich and hugs your mouth with flavor. I cold brew mine and add a little milk and sweetener to it.

  • White Pear

    

I found the tea to be weak and with a slightly weird aftertaste, and the peach was very subtle. I cold brewed it which may have made a difference, but that's how I made 95% of my tea. Maybe white tea is just too weak for my taste.

  • DECAF BLACKBERRY SAGE BLACK TEA BAGS

    

One of the best grocery store varieties of tea I've had. Nice fruity blackberry flavor, though the sage part isn't at all noticeable. I like it both hot and iced.

One thing I don't like is the crushed up tea leaves, they leave a bit of powdery residue floating in the bottom of my jar when I cold brew in the fridge. Prefer more whole loose leaf vs crushed/fannings.
