The name is very apt because it definitely brings to mind drinking tea on your porch while looking out at fields ready for harvest. It's strange - it tastes like a slightly sweet beer or an unsweetened biscotti. The cocoa is understated but the anise and barley come through.

This tea is fruit heavy, which I usually don't like, but it's pretty good. It's both tart and sweet, reminiscent of an apple pie. The ginger and cinnamon add a nice spice.

There's a lot going on here, and I can't quite understand it. It's like a weak chai, with cinnamon, cardamon, cloves, and ginger, but it also has a citrus spritz. Decent black tea, the flavors just feel muddled to me.

Be careful - this one is easy to oversteep and turn bitter. Dark and bold, I can taste the ginger + something that's kind of sweet that helps help hint at gingerbread. Can't taste much cinnamon, but the orange (peel?) comes through for me.

  • Holiday Chai Black Tea

Tasting it by itself, it's a powerful chai - lots of clove, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, along with an unrecognizable flavor that's good (I guess that's the rum flavoring that's supposed to be in it?). With milk+honey, it's one of the best chais I've had, probably because it's heavy on the chai spices and I love that.

This tea genuinely feels like you're sitting on some moss in the woods surrounded by mushrooms. An herbal tea that definitely tastes like it (lol).

Its deep, complex flavors work well together: spiced, earthy, slightly sweet with a bit of a tang, yet smooth - like a medicinal citrus fruit that was dug out of the ground. Might not be to everyone's taste but I enjoyed it and liked it better with each brewing.
