This has a nice earthy aroma and flavor, it works best as a tea that you plan to brew two or three times, each brew is delightfully different. A good option for the adventurous tea drinker.

Lovely dark, earthy pu'erh tea. A staple in my tea stash. So rich and mellow....I prefer it hot, but I bet it would be delicious cold-brewed as well!

I made this tea at 90c for 5 minutes.

It smelled like fish and I didn't even drink it because of that. Quite disappointed considering the rest of adagio's tea smells and tastes fine.

Love to mix the pur-eh dante with other black teas for just a touch of smoky warmth

This is a rich and earthy flavored tea. It's a dark colored tea and you can steep this multiple times. I would suggest doing a quick rinse, then steep.

Best with a wash of the leaves first in hot water, tasted rich and earthy, and enjoyable combination!

I like some earthy teas but this was just way too much earthyness for me

A lot of people have commented that this tea is very mild, but I can't taste it at all. I've always been able to taste teas when infused according to instructions, but this one is an outlier.

Full disclosure, this was my first introduction to Puerh. Smelled like dried mushrooms, taste was not pleasant to me.

Mild earthy flavor. A good morning tea. Did multiple steeps at 190° for 30 seconds to 1 minute each. The second - third steeps were best.

Smells vaguely manure-/horse-like. It's honestly not bad. The taste, in itself, is really good--mild and complex. A lot better than the smell!
