I wasn't sure about the mate, since I've never had it before, or others' comments about this tea making them jittery, but thankfully both reservations were unfounded. The ingredients all blended together really well (and especially the the chocolate and mint) for a really yummy tea that kept me going through a busy morning.

I drank this tea with soy milk. I have to say that I really enjoy it; it's nicely minty and chocolate-y. As someone who really enjoys that combination, I recommend it!

I just received my order from Adagio. If you purchase enough, they send you 3 oz of this tea. It isn't normally something I would like. But the mint flavor comes through, which is probably why I like it so much. It does have a slight taste of artificial flavor, which I'm sure many people would dislike. Not a favorite, but good.

Love the mellowed chocolate flavor paired with peppermint. Ginger isn't really detectable. Makes a really good latte, but plain it's not as endearing.

This was an Adagio purchase seasonal gift for purchasing X amount. I made the double strength late mentioned on the back of the package. The late was very good. It had a hint of peppermint. I didn't like the tea plain. It's much better as a chai or in a late.

Very unique holiday blend. I personally don't like the texture the chocolate gives to the tea. But I love aroma. If you like a creamy tea, this is worth a try.

What a very unique and tasty flavors mixed together. i tried this mate tea with milk and sweetener and just sweetener and honey.I have to warn you because this tea is major caffeine and will wake you up.

I have to be careful with mate, but this is my fav mate blend. I use sparingly and find if I blend with other teas I can enjoy mate. Lovely holiday tea.

This is such an interesting tea, to be honest. Black tea, mint, and mate should make for strange bedfellows but add some vanilla milk and it makes an *amazing* latte. Too bad it's so hard to come by if your Christmas budget had already been snowplowed through

I love this one! Such a great combination of different flavors that I love. It also really does its job of waking you up. You can drink it other times of year as long as you are fine with its distinctively holiday, candy-cane-esque scent. An important one to make sure you don't oversteep, or it just tastes like a strong black tea, without all its nice melange of flavors.

I really like this tea. It's minty, chocolatey, and it has mate in it. The mate doesn't make me all jittery like coffee, and it's good in this blend.

I really enjoy this tea it makes me want to eat all the peppermint chocolate cookies as soon as I open the bag. I have found I am slightly sensitive to mate tea however which is unfortunate

There's a lot going on in this tea. In my opinion, the toasted mate is not a good fit with the chocolate mint. But it does have a holiday vibe to it.

The fragrance of this is out of this world. Definitely picking up the coco-mint flavor. It was a bit bitter so for fun I added a bit of eggnog for the holidays. Too much caffeine for me though! Can't really do the mate unfortunately!

Chocolate mint anything is not usually my bag, but this is straight up delicious. I love having it every year during the Christmas season!
