type: oolong

origin: taiwan masters

caffeine: medium

price level: $$$$

Pouchong is a lightly-oxidized Taiwanese oolong, celebrated for its beguiling aroma. As relayed by a tea master, "if there's no fragrance, it's not worth the effort!" As such, our Masters-grade Pouchong has a deep and inviting floral nose. The liquor is a pale golden-green color with melting-butter texture, uplifting floral notes and mild, succulent flavor. The sweet floral nose lingers long after the last sip. Luckily, our Formosa Pouchong offers a worthwhile second steeping, as its leaves continue to unfurl and release their treasures. Steep at 195°F for 3 minutes

I like green Oolong and this one is really good. 2 min @ 165. Liquor is a clear pale green. Light floral taste. 2nd steep has more color and flavor, soft mouth feel. I could keep steeping this or even cold brew it overnight.

A smooth, lightly floral oolong. This is delicious plain and steeped for about a minute.

Delicate and floral, Formosa Pouching has a nuanced flavor profile. A refreshing, smooth tea perfect for an afternoon break.

A little pricier than others, but worth it when you want to savor a cup of tea. It is delicate oolong, but very flavorful. It has a floral, almost lilac, aroma and flavor. I enjoyed this more when steeped about a minute more than recommended.

It reminds me of the milk oolong, which is also a favorite of mine. Also pricey, but I think worth it.

This tea is a bit expensive and not worth it in my opinion, I know others like it though!
