The 2019 Darjeeling First Flush is from the famous and beautiful Balasun estate. It is rare and exquisite in layered, complex, notes of orchard blossoms and delicate fruit crispness. It is only the eighth tea plucking of the season from very early spring and speaks to the experience and craftsmanship of the producer. Limited availability! Steep at 180°F for 3 minutes

I'm normally more of a classic black or oolong tea fan, but this tea is wonderful! Lighter flavor than my usual go-to teas, but I really enjoy this one!

Unexpectedly light, crisp and refreshing black tea. Delicious with a bit of honey.

This is truly a remarkable tea. Fixed as you would a white tea, it's actually even smoother than the actual white darjeelings. This TRULY is a Master blend!

Dried leaves have an earthy, sweet melon scent. This is a very light tasting tea (great for white tea drinkers wanting just a touch more umph to there cup). On the tongue I tasted a hint of earthiness, some honey, and stone fruit (apricot or peach pit). The aftertaste was like honey drizzled peaches with a twang of white pepper and an astringency that grew with each sip. This tea has a very clean, short finish. I enjoyed it very much.

This is not the best Darjeeling Tea I've ever had, but it was still quite good. I found that brewing it for 5 minutes made the flavor a bit more pronounced.

This was great for a second steeping! Delicate and strong, this is a bold tea that has a rich and complex taste. By far, one of my favorite black teas.

This reminded me strongly of earl grey. It's a very good tea.

This is a really interesting tea. Its a mix of a fresh green tea and a smoky black tea. Worth a try
