  • Calm Chamomile

As others have stated, there's a lot going on in this tea - I found it overly busy with too many flavors and at the same time underwhelming.

  • Wuyi Ensemble

    

The floral notes in Wuyi Ensemble are clearly noticeable, but no so pronounced that they detract from the earth, smoke, and spice notes (a problem I have with some oolongs). This is a smooth, nicely balanced tea - I enjoyed it.

  • Cucumber White

    

I really enjoy light white and green teas, so I was hoping this would be a light and refreshing hit. Sadly, I didn't taste much more than hot water with this.

  • Formosa Oolong

    

The brewed cup smelled of gardenias and spice. On the tongue I got plenty of earthiness with floral gardenia notes. I'm not big on floral teas, but I can't fault this tea for that - it's a good quality blend, just not for me.

  • Assam Harmony

    

The tea leaves had a light scent of earthy dew and moss. On the tongue this tasted quite sweet but also acidic. The aftertaste is short and carries flavors of molasses and maple syrup. I would have enjoyed this tea if not for the strong acidic notes that put me off.

  • Keemun Concerto

    

Did not care for the lychee notes in this. The tea had an acidic note too it that I can only assume came from the lychee.

  • GREEN TEA WITH MANGO TEA BAGS

    

Barely got any flavor from this tea, not a tea I will repurchase.

  • Rooibos Vanilla

    

Good for a blend, but alone this tea falls flat for me.

  • Jasmine Yin Hao

    

Very pleasant jasmine tea. Strikes a nice balance.

  • Green Tea with Pomegranate

    

Did not hold much flavor for me. Not I tea I will purchase again.

  • Honeybush Banana Nut

    

The tea leaves had a cloying scent of chestnut syrup and banana. On the tongue this tea is very sweet; with maple bourbon vanilla, chestnut, and banana syrup - which would be good if there wasn't an odd chemical aftertaste on the backend. Can't say I will be purchasing again.

  • Scottish Breakfast

    

The dried leaves had a raisin and chocolate scent, with barely a wisp of earthy undertone. On the tongue this tea was initially bitter followed by a chocolate covered raisin flavor. The aftertaste was mainly raisin and very astringent. This tea has a very long finish (flavor lingers for minutes on the tongue) mainly due to an astringent wax that seemed to coat my tongue and wouldn't leave. This is the first tea I've ever experienced that with, maybe a bad batch? Other than the wax effect, this tea tea has a good taste.

  • Darjeeling Spring Tip

    

Dried leaves have an earthy, sweet melon scent. This is a very light tasting tea (great for white tea drinkers wanting just a touch more umph to there cup). On the tongue I tasted a hint of earthiness, some honey, and stone fruit (apricot or peach pit). The aftertaste was like honey drizzled peaches with a twang of white pepper and an astringency that grew with each sip. This tea has a very clean, short finish. I enjoyed it very much.

  • English Breakfast

    

This tea was pungent, with notes of chocolate, then some bitterness that was followed by more chocolate. It wasn't astringent but I didn't care for the bitterness coupled with the pungency of the tea.

  • Tiger Eye

    

On the nose this smells like chocolate malt balls to me. The taste is undeniably a malty chocolate (slight hint of Hershey's chocolate syrup) with a touch of caramel and cream. I really enjoy this tea, and even more so when it's used as a base for a tea blend.

  • Thai Tea

    

Didn't care for the flavor combo, too much going on.

  • Lapsang Souchong

    

Tasted slightly sweet with charred oak, peppercorns, and a musky strong smokiness.

  • Passion

    

Originally had this as an iced tea from Starbucks, definitely prefer as an iced tea with honey rather than hot.

  • Yunnan Gold Tips Black Tea

    

Sweet and musty scent with white pepper and maple syrup on the nose. The taste is sweet, lightly floral, with barely a hint of earthy maple syrup. A complex and tasty black tea whether had hot or iced.

  • Yunnan Jig

    

In dried form Yunnan Jig smells like sun baked earth accompanied by a sweet white pepper scent. The taste is sweet and earthy with a touch of malty cocoa. Equally good hot or iced. I found myself craving more of this tea soon after finishing the sample bag.

  • Rooibos

    

As another reviewer stated "Rooibos is almost an acquired taste..." - very true, and although some flavored rooibos teas are tasty, I've certainly not acquired a taste for straight rooibus.

  • GREEN TEA BAGS

    

I've tried many brands of green tea, and Bigelow green tea largely misses the mark for me. Very little flavor, and the tea bags leave an odd paper taste in the brew.

  • RED RASPBERRY TEA BAG

    

Tart with very little flavor, no amount of sweetener could help.

  • Assam Melody

    

Sweet molasses with a touch of maple syrup, followed by an aftertaste of acidic astringency. Not my thing, but an interesting foray into Assams.

  • Earl Grey Bravo

    

Classic Earl Grey that finishes with a touch of bitter from orange rind. Even though I'm not a great Earl Grey fan, I must say that Adagio's Earl Greys have thus far had stronger and smoother flavor profiles than many other brands I've tried.

  • Pu-Erh Poe

    

Earthy with a fresh dew aftertaste and a slightly floral finish. Absolutely no bitterness or astringency. A nice median between floral oolongs and spicier pu'erh teas.

  • Red Zinger

    

Did not like, the sour/tart notes were so strong that I couldn't appreciate the fruit notes. And no amount of sweetener could help.

  • Country Peach Passion

    

Can't miss the peach in this, but as others have said, the peach is stronger as the tea cools, or when made as an iced tea. My only issue with this tea is that the bags leave on odd paper/chemical taste in the brew - the reason I stopped drinking bagged store brands and switched to loose leaf.

  • BLACKCURRANT BURST

    

The blackcurrant cannot be missed in this tea, it is STRONG! If you like loads of flavor, this is up your ally! Beware letting this come in contact with plastic cups or tumbler lids, the scent seeps in and is very difficult to remove.

  • PEACH & PASSION FRT BLACK TEA BAGS

    

The fruit flavors are quite strong, so this is not for those who prefer subtle notes in their black teas.

  • MANGO & LYCHEE

    

Just like other reviewers, I did not care for the lychee in this.

  • ORANGE & SPICE HERBAL TEA BAGS

    

When I first began drinking tea, this was a flavor that I enjoyed. Nowadays I prefer loose leaf, and high quality, so this isn't my cup of tea, but still good for beginners.

  • MANGO MAGIC

    

Relatively smooth black tea, but the mango was barely noticeable.

  • Yunnan Gold

    

This is a wonderful tea - sweet, lightly floral, with a touch of earthy maple syrup and chocolate. Very soothing cup of tea!

  • BIRTHDAY CAKE

    

With a bit of vanilla almond milk this makes for a nice treat.
