 (25 reviews)

type: green

origin: china

caffeine: medium

price level: $$$$

Fresh green tea from China with the warm flavors of cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger. Rich, inviting aroma, zesty flavor and hearty finish. Not as potent as a some chai blends can be, so if you're interested in spiced tea, this lightly flavored cup is a very good place to start. Steep at 180°F for 2-3 minutes

Not gross or anything but extremely boring, like slightly clove flavored water. I tried steeping longer to see if it would help, but it was still just like low-battery clove and ginger water. Smelled nice, like a Christmas clove and molasses kind of thing, but the actual tea had zero flavor.

They say this is lightly flavored, well, not my cup, it also does not mention cloves in the ingredients, but my cup was full of clove flavor, I still enjoyed the cup though because I like these spices

I'm a cinnamon fan and this tea works for me. Nice cinnamon spice aroma from the dry leaves. A couple of orange pieces with cinnamon chips. 2 min @ 165. The cinnamon smell is still present and overpowering any orange or green tea fragrance. Delicious cinnamon flavor, again overpowering any orange or green tea. I like it and it provides another cinnamon tea sans cloves option.

Too light for me. Smells wonderful but once brewed there just isn't much spice flavor. I'm really just not much of a green tea fan. I prefer stronger black, oolong and pu'erh teas. So this one just isn't my cup of tea. A quality tea, just not my personal taste.

Very light tea with subtle spice taste, great to sip on.

Day 11 of Advent calendar. Very enjoyable. The spices with the green tea give a nice light but spicy flavor

The tea smells and taste like Christmas hard spiced candy. Reminds me of the holidays and it perfect to blend with other teas, especially adagio fandom blends. The come off a bit strong so, I use a normal teaspoon and 12 oz CT mug with temp hot water 200f.

Not sure how I feel about spices on a green base. It's pleasant if steeped right, but if not, it has a weird soapy, grassy flavor.

I love this tea. I would never have guessed that green tea and chai could go together, but in this tea, the balance of the spices and green tea is perfect! I look forward to drinking this tea whenever it's early enough for the green tea level of caffeine.

Strong cloves, kinda soapy. Don't oversteep, it's not good bitter. Tasted the better the more I drank. It's kind of sweet, but pleasantly so.

Lightly spiced green tea. A few people compared it to Bigelow Constant Comment, and I think that’s an accurate comparison.

A pleasant light, mild green tea with warming spices.

A spicy aroma greets you when you open this tea. It steeps to a pretty yellow color. Although the flavor isn't nearly as intense as its smell, the usually grassiness of green tea is overpowered by clove and ginger. I was unable to distinguish cinnamon in the mix. I added ½ tsp of honey to bring out the orange flavor. Not my favorite spiced tea.

Wasn't a fan. Tasted more sour than spiced. Cant recommend in good faith. Most of the flavor was dominated by other additions like the orange peel rather than the leaves

Hubby loves this tea. I got a bunch of samples and this by far he said was the best flavor. He liked the aroma and flavor

An interesting chai to be sure but a chai nonetheless! The switch up of green tea in place of the more traditional black makes the tea a little softer around the edges but the spices usually present in chai were all there.

Other reviewers have already said it, but this tea is legitimately like Christmas in a cup - in taste and smell! I have never had a spiced green before, and I was pleasantly surprised (as I really don't tend to choose spiced teas at all). I didn't find the cinnamon and other spices overwhelming at all, and in fact the bright, lovely green tea flavor came through strong and clear, making for a really delightful and balanced cup of tea. I would possibly consider buying this again for the wintertime.

Light on the green tea flavor, heavy on the clove. I love clove, so this was really good. Not for everyone.

Tastes and smells like a christmas orange, the kind studded with clove. Good iced too, but probably better hot.

The tea is mild and the cloves are strong. The cinnamon and ginger are .ore of an aftertaste than a Ayer in the mix. Overall pretty good.

I liked the spiced scent coming out of the CommuniTea packet, but it's not as strong as I expected once steeped. Which I suppose is the point; a lightly spiced tea.

Though it's interesting, when it was at it's hottest I couldn't taste any spice, just a buttery green tea. As it cooled the spice became more prominent.

Steep 180F for 3min, steeped twice.

I didn't expect this from a green tea, but it tastes like Christmas! I love the ginger and I can't figure out exactly what spice makes this just right, but I am so into the combination!

Lightly spiced green tea. Didn't taste any orange flavor; mostly tasted of clove, but was very nice.

Smells like a fresh Christmas wreath. Very delicate green tea flavor with spice reminiscent of all things Christmas.

Definitely an interesting green tea. The spices make it unique and quite tasty.
