I can't get enough of this aroma, this tea smells like Easter! It has a strong floral scent, but the floral taste is not nearly as strong. I enjoy floral teas, so I inhaled through my nose with each sip to get the maximum floral experience. I will be buying this to enjoy on spring mornings.

  • Valentines

    

I don't particularly like chocolate flavor in my tea, but I won't take away stars for personal preference. I think a bit of cream and sugar makes this quite enjoyable. It's sweet and smooth. My cup was pretty bitter, but I take responsibility for that, I got distracted and didn't pull the tea when I should have.

  • Cha Cha

    

I was never wild about chamomile, but, while chamomile is front and center, everything plays well together. This is a clean and relaxing blend that will definitely be going on my wish list.

  • Spiced Apple Chai

    

It's a lighter chai than I expected, but with great flavor. It's like a spiced apple cider without the sweetness. That might be hard to imagine, but it's what I thought of while drinking it.

  • Fujian Orchid

    

This tea feels like spring. It's fun to watch the leaves unfurl and the resulting tea is a springy pale green color. The taste is light and a bit floral while being smooth and refreshing.

  • Rooibos

    

I like rooibos mixed with other things, especially fruit, but it's also good on its own. It's a little earthy and little nutty. I recommend using a bag for rooibos blends.

  • Sencha Overture

    

I thought this one was very grassy and I'm sure green tea lovers would enjoy it. I'm rating it right in the middle because I don't think it's fair to go lower when it's my own personal preference that makes me not like it. There is some quality in certain green teas that makes me feel a little queasy. I'm not sure what it is, but this tea does it. If that doesn't happen to you, I'm sure you will enjoy it!

  • Melonberry Green

    

I think the green tea was a good vehicle for the other flavors. I primarily tasted berry with some subtle melon while the green tea just kind of danced in the background. I really enjoyed it as is, no sweetener required.

  • Campfire S'Mores

    

I didn't think I would like this because of the lapsang souchong, but I was pleasantly surprised! The strongest flavors to me were the vanilla and marshmallow. The smokiness was more prominent as it cooled.

  • Tiger Eye

    

Out of the packet, this smelled great - like caramel. To taste, it was quite bitter. I brewed at 190 for less than 3 min, but it just wasn't my favorite. Even after adding sweetener, it was more bitter than I really enjoy. Not bad, just not something I'll buy.

  • Milk Oolong

    

I like watching the leaves open up! It has a creamy feel to it and a light, almost floral flavor. I really enjoyed it!

  • Yunnan Jig

    

I brewed this one at 212 for a long time and it actually didn't get bitter! It's deep and rich, full of flavor and just a bit earthy. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and will be buying a bigger bag!

  • Mandarin Green

    

This is a smooth green that's just a little bit grassy. I didn't taste any orange in mine and if I were to make it again, I would add some myself. Overall, this was still a very enjoyable cup.

  • Blackberry Sage Oolong

    

This is one of my favorites! The blackberry is more pronounced than the sage and I love the combination. It's really smooth and a nice mix of sweet and savory or earthy. I just love this one!

  • Jump Start

    

This one is earthy and woody but with notes of chocolate. My kids claim they could smell the cinnamon from the other room, but I didn't think it was quite that strong. I could see this one joining the morning rotation. A good, strong tea that is appropriately named.

  • Decaf Spice

    

I really enjoyed this one and I always appreciate a decaf tea. The spices were a nice blend and I would really like to try this one with an orange tea. It's kind of sweet, no added sugar or honey needed.

  • Double Ginger

    

I love ginger, but I only tasted a hint of it over the flavor of the peppercorns. I should have picked them out, but I wanted to try the tea as is. I won't be buying this one to drink, but I might get a sample to try cooking with it some time.

  • Rooibos Vanilla Chai

    

I'm always excited for a chai with no caffeine. This spice blend is really nice, but I personally would add another scoop or so to make it stronger. Not quite as vanilla as I would like.

  • Dragonwell

    

Definitely buttery, as other reviews have stated. I will add that it is toasty and a bit nutty or even corny. I'm not much of a green tea drinker, but if you are, I would recommend this one.

  • Assam Melody

    

This is a pretty good black tea. It's bold and mildly astringent. If I had to choose between this one and the assam harmony, I would pick the latter, but not by much.

  • White Blueberry

    

The blueberry flavor really blows away all expectations I had! It's very light and slightly sweet. I could definitely drink a whole pot of this in one sitting.

  • Almond

    

Very mild almond flavor - I think it's actually more in the smell than the taste. It's sweet, which was a nice surprise and it's a really nice black tea. My husband, the marzipan lover, really enjoyed it.

  • Summer Night

    

I mostly taste the orange in this one, but it's not a citrusy bite. Overall this is a mellow and round tea. I'm getting just the tiniest hint of mint, which I really enjoy because I think mint tends to overwhelm a blend. I really enjoyed this one!

  • Raspberry

    

I followed the advice from the other reviewers and brewed it at a lower temp for less than three minutes. I definitely recommend that as I ended up with a nice flavor and no bitterness. I think this one benefits from just a touch of sweetener to bring out the raspberry.

  • Silver Sprout

    

This is pretty good for a green tea, which is not what I usually reach for, but I did enjoy this one. It's light and a little bit floral, maybe a little bit grassy.

  • English Breakfast

    

I love starting the morning with this one. It's smooth and rich without being too bold. I usually drink it straight, but it is just delightful when you add a bit of cream and sugar.

  • Rooibos Earl Grey

    

I'm a big earl grey fan and I do enjoy a good rooibos, but this wasn't really what I expected. It tastes like a citrusy rooibos, but not the bergamot earl grey flavor I was hoping for. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't expecting earl grey.

  • Rooibos Nutcracker

    

I typically don't like nutty flavors in my tea, but this blend is done right! I made a latte with it and it absolutely delightful! It's caramel, nutty, rich, and delicious!

  • Candy Cane

    

I had this as part of adagio's communitea and didnt see any candy cane pieces in my packet. I also got strong notes of caramel when I opened it, so I honestly thought I got the wrong tea. When I sipped it, it was caramel-y at first and then a tiny kick of mint came after. The more I drank, the more the mint came out. It was nice and light and I ended up really enjoying it.

  • Honeybush Blueberry Pancake

    

I could get really wordy with this review, but that is really just to reach the character minimum. It doesn't take a lot of words to get to the point- this tea tastes like blueberry pancakes with syrup. So there you go, enjoy!

  • Masala Chai

    

This is a nice blend of spices. Not too bland, but I would add some cardamom to it, just because I like a cardamom-heavy chai. Definitely heap those teaspoons. Cream and sugar make it lovely. I will probably try with a splash of vanilla as well.

  • Christmas

    

If you have had pepper cookies, you have a pretty good idea of what this tea is. I brewed it at a lower temp (out of laziness) and I think I missed out on some of the flavor. I wish I just did it right. But it was still very Christmassy!

  • White Chai

    

This was spicier than I was expecting. I think the white tea made me think it would be more tame. I really enjoyed the spice and I think I need to explore white teas with chai spice a little more.

  • Yuletide Toddy

    

I love this one! It's fruity with just enough spice to make it taste like Christmas. Of the fruit, the orange stands out the most to me and it blends beautifully with the spice. Might try with some honey and an added cinnamon stick next time.

  • Cocomint Green

    

This is really smooth and light enough that I can just keep drinking it. I don't usually like chocolate-flavored teas, but this was subtle enough that it didn't bother me. It actually played really well with all of flavors and I really enjoyed this one.

  • Chestnut

    

To be fair, I want to say upfront that I typically don't enjoy nut flavoring in my tea. I brewed at a lower temp to avoid bitterness, but it still tasted bitter to me. I am inclined to blame the chestnut flavor. If I try to ignore my personal preferences, I can say this is probably quite enjoyable for people who don't have the same aversion.

  • Vanilla Oolong

    

I brewed this at a lower temp - probably about 185 rather than 212 - and it was really good. The vanilla flavor was perfect and I added a little sugar and a cinnamon stick to make this a perfect winter tea.

  • Honeybush Mango

    

I'm excited to try this one iced, I think it will be very refreshing. It is fruity, but I accidentally let it steep way too long and it's a bit earthy. You can avoid that by just paying attention!

  • Gingerbread

    

The first taste of the first sip didn't really blow me away, but the gingerbread flavor followed a second later and I really enjoyed it. Each sip was like that, which was odd, but I enjoyed it overall

  • Spiced Green

    

I didn't expect this from a green tea, but it tastes like Christmas! I love the ginger and I can't figure out exactly what spice makes this just right, but I am so into the combination!

  • Raja Oolong Chai

    

When I first opened this, I thought it smelled like wet dog. The taste was much better with mostly cinnamon coming through for me. The weird smell made a comeback with the aftertaste and I gave the rest of the cup to my husband. He ended up loving it, so I rated it right in the middle.

  • Genmai Cha

    

I had a hard time choosing the right words to describe this, but really it just tasted like puffed rice. It's blowing my mind lol. If I had to describe it another way, I would say toasty and maybe a little nutty. I don't think it'll be in my regular rotation, but I liked it.

  • Pomegranate Grove

    

If this blend just had pomegranate, rose, hibiscus, and berries, I think it would have been good. The addition of the ginger, cinnamon, and orange takes it to a whole new level and I am loving it! I tried this in the communitea box and it is definitely going on my wish list.

  • Peppermint

    

This is a wonderful cup of tea. Minty, smooth, and sweet- I could drink this every day. No frills, just right.

  • Pu-erh Chorange

    

The chocolate flavor is nice, and I'm saying that as someone who generally doesn't like chocolate flavor in her tea. I do wish it had a little more orange zing and I would probably add some orange peels if I were to try it again.

  • Golden Flower

    

I expected Golden Flower to have a grassy taste and I wasn't sure how much I was going to like it. It is actually very smooth and light and delightfully floral!

  • Earl Grey Moonlight

    

So smooth and so creamy without adding any cream. Adagio has fantastic earl greys and this is no exception. I would give more stars if I could.

  • Elderberry Wine

    

I brewed this at a lower temp and it wasn't as bitter as I expected from some of the other reviews. There is a definite wine-type feel to it. I think blending this with an orange tea would be delightful.

  • Fiery Cinnamon Spice

    

So much cinnamon in this tea!! I added sugar, but ended up preferring it without. It's so spicy and warm and delicious! I will definitely buy this one.

  • Earl Grey Bella Luna

    

This is a fantastic earl grey, one of my favorites. It's smooth and complex, with all of the components taking a turn to jump out at you. Absolutely delicious.

  • Green Assam

    

Not my favorite. There is a grassy smell and taste and some smokiness in the taste as well. Some sweetener cut the astringency a bit, but this isn't one I will reach for again.

  • Yerba Mate

    

This has a very grassy and earthy smell and flavor. It's very grounding and energizing, which makes it a great choice for mornings

  • Happy Belly

    

As far as flavor goes, I could use a little more ginger in this blend, but it isn't bad. It honestly tastes like you are drinking something an old healer woman in the forest made to make your stomach feel better. I assume that is just the power of suggestion because of the name, but I like that about this blend.

  • Cranberry

    

I was expecting a tart flavor, but this was on the sweeter side. Overall, it tasted very natural and smooth and I liked it more than I thought I would.

  • Passionfruit

    

The flavor was good, I just wish there was more of it. The passionfruit itself didn't taste artificial at all, which is a big deal to me. A little bit stronger flavor and I would've given 5 stars.

  • Rooibos Peach

    

The peach isn't quite as peachy as I would've liked. I always enjoy adagio's rooibos and this was no exception, but if you are looking for peach, I think there are better options.

  • White Peony

    

A light, delicate white tea. Hints of floral flavor and not too sweet, but I still considered it to be refreshing. Will definitely buy again

  • Pu-erh Dante

    

If you are looking for deep and earthy, this is for you. That's not my personal preference, but this one was nice to try.

  • Rooibos Orange

    

I didn't taste the orange much until I added some sugar. It really brought out the flavor and I ended up loving this.

  • Green Pekoe

    

A mild, slightly grassy green tea. Not my favorite, but pleasant enough.

  • Lapsang Souchong

    

Rating right in the middle because my husband enjoys this and I do not. I don't mind it while sipping, but I can't get past the smokey aftertaste. I think it would probably be great to cook with.

  • Jade Snail

    

The taste is mostly grassy and light, but there is something about this I just didn't like. I can't pinpoint what it is, but I didn't even finish the cup.

  • Honeybush

    

It's mild and a little bit earthy. I prefer to use this one blended with other flavors, but it is nice on its own.

  • Golden Monkey

    

The smell is rich and chocolatey. It tastes earthy with hints of cocoa or maybe caramel. The taste is more complex and the sweeter notes stand out more with a little sugar added.

  • Thai Tea

    

I mostly taste coconut and vanilla. The rooibos adds a nice flavor and the black tea makes it all richer. I think adding sweetened condensed milk as suggested would be fantastic.

  • Scottish Breakfast

    

A great cup - rich and smooth. Great with milk and sugar, but it honestly doesn't need it.

  • Gunpowder

    

This is a solid green tea. Slight smokey flavor, not really grassy.

  • Honeybush Apricot

    

Sweet and fruity without being overwhelming. A very pleasant cup.

  • Caramel

    

I steeped low and quick to avoid bitterness and ended up with a weak but smooth and enjoyable cup of tea.

  • Bella Luna Blue

    

Most of the flavor comes from the lemongrass, but the blueberry swoops in at the end for a nice finish.

  • Strawberry Tea

    

Delicious dessert-y tea, tastes great with a splash of vanilla. Nothing tastes artificial, which is a big win for me.

  • Maple Creme Oolong

    

This is sweet and light. All of the flavors play nicely together, but the cup as a while is light enough to be the perfect companion to a big stack of pancakes. Highly recommend!

  • Honeybush Chocolate

    

Not bad as far as chocolate teas go, but they just never taste quite right to me in general. With the right creamer, I think this would make a nice dessert.

  • Candy Apple

    

I thought the caramel stole the show. It might benefit from mixing with a more apple-y tea. I recommend brewing at a lower temp.

  • Fujian Rain

    

Complex, minerally oolong that I loved. Sweeter flavors come out on later steeps.

  • Sour Apple

    

Such a pretty color! It's tart, but really tasty! It would probably be amazing with caramel or cinnamon flavor. On it's own it's delicious and would probably be fantastic iced.

  • Autumn Mist Green

    

Sweet and delicious! I was slightly disappointed that most of the flavors were overpowered by the creme brulee, but you can't be too disappointed when the final product is so delightful.

  • Irish Breakfast

    

Smooth and rich and delicious. Great cup with milk and sugar or all by itself.

  • Spiced Mate

    

The flavor is halfway between coffee and tea. I really enjoy the spice, perfect warm flavors for a cold morning.

  • Rooibos Almond

    

Not much almond flavor, mostly tastes like a basic rooibos

  • Honeybush Pumpkin Chai

    

Pretty mild, light and sweet. If you prefer a lighter spice, this might be a good choice.

  • Pu-erh Spice

    

Cozy fall tea. No one ingredient stands out, they all blend together beautifully.

  • Blackberry

    

Not my favourite. It has an astringent taste. I would go for the blackberry sage oolong over this one.

  • White Pear

    

Subtle pear flavor, but I added some brown sugar and cinnamon and it tasted like fall in a cup!

  • Ginseng Green

    

Strong ginseng/green flavor. I didn't taste any ginger, which I really would have enjoyed.

  • Lemongrass Ginger

    

The ginger steals the show for me, followed closely by the lemongrass. Would probably be fantastic with a little bit of honey. This would also be perfect for when you're feeling a little under the weather.

  • Bonfire

    

If you like lapsang souchong, then you will probably enjoy this. I personally don't like it. It does actually taste like a bonfire, so I guess if that's what are going for, you'll love it.

  • Cinnamon

    

I didn't taste any cinnamon. I made it strong to combine with apple cider but I tried it before mixing and I got no cinnamon. After mixing, it tasted like watered down apple cider.

  • Almond Oolong

    

It has a very strong almond smell when you open the bag, but is very smooth in the cup. It tastes like marzipan or cookies. I thought just a little sugar really made it, but my marzipan-loving husband preferred it unsweetened.

  • Pumpkin Spice

    

I'm more of an apple cider girl than a pumpkin spice girl, but I got this in Adagio's CommuniTEA and it made a delicious latte with a little sweetener. It was perfect for a fall morning.

  • Mocha Nut Mate

    

Nutty flavor, very good for a morning cup, especially if you are a coffee drinker. This was perfect just lightly sweetened.

  • Vanilla Green

    

I don't usually reach for green teas, but this one was light, not at all bitter, and the vanilla flavor is absolutely delightful!
