Simple, warm, comforting, DELICIOUS! Such a nice familiar combination. Great as a nightcap or with a dessert/meal.

  • English Breakfast

Another really good black tea! Like the Scottish breakfast tea, it is best with a splash of whole milk. This one is a bit lighter and brighter in character. I prefer the Scottish tea, but the english is a good substitute.

  • Earl Grey Bravo

Good for Earl Grey Lovers, strange for people who like black tea. The floral note was a little strange. Earl Grey is good, but this was an odd twist. Wouldn't throw it away but wouldn't drink it every day.

  • CONSTANT COMMENT BLACK TEA BAGS

My mom always drank this stuff. It's alright, it's a black tea, but it's a little astringent and heavier than plain black tea. Just has a lot going on. 3/5

I'm a fan of strong herbal mixtures, and man does this one kick. Peppery and spicy and STRONG, but still enjoyable. If you're into that kind of thing, anyways :)

  • Rooibos Jasmine

Well... it was something? The jasmine floral flavor doesn't play very well with the strong, astringent/tannin heavy rooibos body. I like both of these things, but separately. Going to have to shelf this one.

  • Irish Breakfast

Solid black tea. Good for breakfast, yes! Perhaps a little one dimensional. I tend to prefer the Scottish breakfast over the Irish breakfast tea. This would be a good tea to cook with a la TeaChef since it's a little more on the economical side.

Wonderful breakfast tea, only made proper by addition of a small, stout splash of whole milk to smooth it over and give it a hint of lactose sweetness. This is one of my favorite black teas. Apparently it is a big mix of black teas (Assam plus Ceylon plus a bunch more). Always more than chuffed by this tea plus a little milk in the morning. Good way to get to work!

  • Fujian Jasmine Pearl

Pleasant jasmine tea, but a little light. I'm a fan of jasmine teas at certain times and this hit the spot, but I was almost wishing for more white tea or green tea flavor to pull through. It's a nice balance, but I think I liked the other jasmine pearls better? Hard to say which is best, they're just a little different.

  • Peach Oolong

One of my ALL TIME FAVORITES from Adagio. Best drunk at double the concentration (2 tsp per 8oz), iced, and heavily sugared. Put the sugar in before the ice though! This is a wonderful, refreshing, crisp fruity black tea with a caffeine kick. Perfect summer sipping material. The black tea is average, but the flavor is off the charts.

  • Apricot Green

Good slightly fruity green! The apricot and peach flavored greens are both really good. I'm a big fan of those and also the ginger.

Fruity green teas are great from adagio, generally.

  • Sleepytime Vanilla

Sleepytime Vanilla is sooo SO good. So calming and relaxing. The chamomile and other herbs mix just right and it feels like a cup of warm comfort. Hard to overstate how helpful it can be for insomnia and anxiety.

My every day go to cup of tea. You can steep it colder and shorter so it stays sweeter and less astringent, or longer and hotter so it's stronger with caffeine and stronger tasting, more astringent and a little smokey almost. Nothing like lapsang souchong but, overall, a wonderful pleasant and economical green tea.
