  • Candy Cane

I quite enjoyed this combination. I love herbal peppermint, and this is just as nice.

  • Honeybush Blueberry Pancake

    

Quite similar to Green Rooibos Blueberry but with more sweetness from the "pancake" elements. Steeped at 212F for 5min

  • Butterscotch

    

This blend is spot on! It's a lovely warm butterscotch with a touch of sweetness. Not so sweet that it's cloying, but just enough to remind you of the candy.

    Steeped at 212F for 3min

  • Teaster Marshmallow

    

This is a lovely, sweet rooibos that fits perfectly with Easter. It has a sweetness from the apples, sprinkles and rooibos that hints at a marshmallow flavor.

    Steeped at 212F for 6min.

  • Hunan Gold

Smooth and not at all astringent. This would pair well with a number of foods and treats. This has a relatively light, fresh taste that I'm struggling to describe.

    Brewed at 180F for 2min

  • White Ayurvedic Chai

    

I'm not a huge chai person, so I wasn't sure if I was going to like today's tea. Seeing so much cinnamon and black peppercorn on the list made me a bit leery. With that said, I quite enjoyed this! It's not spicy, but has nice notes of cinnamon and a touch of sweetness. I can't pick out individual flavors as noted on the package, but it comes together well.

    Brewed at 212F for 5min

  • Rooibos Jasmine

    

The jasmine was nice and light but I really didn't care for how strong the rooibos came through. Kind of an odd pairing.

    Steeped at 212F for 4min

  • Chocolate

    

This has a nice, rich chocolate flavor with a strange, almost alcohol aftertaste. I think this would have been much more enjoyable with added sweetness from rooibos. I wanted to enjoy this but just couldn't get into it.

    Steeped at 212F for 4min

  • Lemon Meringue Green

    

I was convinced I wasn't a huge green tea fan until I tried this. It has a nice bright lemon flavor that's rounded out by the cream flavor. This was a wonderful cup!

    Steeped at 180F for 3min

  • Rooibos Earl Grey

    

A nice twist on a classic. This is a slightly sweeter version of a traditional Earl Grey. I quite enjoyed the sweetness and might replace regular Earl Grey with this.

    Steeped at 212F for 5min

  • Rooibos Vanilla Chai

    

I've come to the understanding that I am not a huge chai fan, but I do prefer this over other chai blends. This is fairly cardamom forward.

    Steeped at 212F for 7min

  • Rooibos Vanilla

    

This is ok as is but I don't think I would choose to drink it alone. This is a little creamier than a straight rooibos, but not much.

    Brewed at 212F for 5min

  • Rooibos

    

I'm starting to think I'm not a fan of rooibos or honeybush alone. This is quite similar to Adagios plain Honeybush. It's ok, but just doesn't fit my taste. It has a sweet grassy/alfalfa scent and possibly taste?

    Brewed at 212F for 5min

  • Green Rooibos Bonita

    

This is not the kind of tea I would normally pick for myself, but I really enjoyed it. It has a nice peachy finish without tasting fake.

    Steeped at 212F for 5min

  • Honeybush

    

I'm going to give this a fairly neutral to positive review because I've never had straight honeybush tea before. This has sweet notes that remind me of alfalfa and the rolled oats we used to feed our cows. It's not really my favorite alone, but I like Adagio's Honeybush in blends.

    Steeped at 212F for 5min

  • Honeybush Vanilla

    

A nice mellow vanilla to go with the sweetness of honeybush. Steeped at 212F for 5min, second steep for 6min.

  • Honeybush Hazelnut

    

This was just ok. The hazelnut was prevalent on first steep but nearly absent on the second steep. It might be nice with cream, but I tend to drink my tea straight.

    Steeped at 212F for 5min

  • Green Rooibos Blueberry

    

Steeped for 5min at 212F. This was sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. The blueberry was a nice top note without being over the top. A nice, well balanced tea.

  • Honeybush Banana Nut

    

Despite accidentally dumping nearly a third of my sample packet on the ground, this is delicious! It's sweet with a touch of banana and a nutty finish. I'm not a big banana person at all, but I really like this blend! Steeped for 5min at 212F

  • Caramel

    

This was relatively smooth when hot, but difficult to detect caramel notes. Caramel became more prevalent as the tea cooled off, but it was still quite subtle. I found that prewing for 3min at 212 left more of an astringent aftertaste as well. My second brew was for 4 min at 190F and I found that to be less astringent. With that said, the caramel wasn't any more prevalent that the previous brew. I probably wouldn't repurchase this, but it's not a terrible tea either.

  • Cream

    

I detected a creamy/vanilla scent while brewing, but it was nearly absent when drinking. This was slightly astringent when brewed at 212F. I did a second brewing at a slightly lower temperature for less astringency. The cream is most noticable when you forget about your tea and have to drink it at room temperature.

  • Tiger Eye

    

I can see why this gets compared to Campfire Smores. They are similar blends, but I find that I personally enjoy this one more. My first steep was the recommended time of 3 minutes at 212F. This wasn't quite strong enough for me, so on second steep I opted for 4 minutes at 212F.

The dry tea smells slightly off-putting with a fake chocolate smell (despite visible nibs), but the brewed tea is lovely. Subtle notes of chocolate hit the palette first, followed by sweet caramel and a touch of vanilla. I detected zero astringency with this blend.

  • Campfire S'Mores

    

I initially brewed this as suggested by the package (3min at 212F). I personally found this to be rather light for the first cup. The first thing I noticed was the smokiness. It's there, but not overpowering. Next I noticed a hint of chocolate and a light sweetness from the marshmallows. As my cup cooled I detected more toasty notes, possibly graham crackers?

I decided to give this another steep for 5min at 212F to compare. I liked the longer steep time for this blend. It brought out the more subtle flavors. I don't usually drink tea with additions, but I found that some of the rock sugar (provided as a sample) enhanced the sweetness enough to get it closer to a S'mores flavor. I don't get S'mores in every sip, but it's a nice cup of tea.

  • Rooibos Pecan Turtle

    

This was the tea that got me into loose leaf. I thought I was done with tea until someone gifted me an assortment. Rooibos Pecan Turtle has the sweetness of rooibos, the nuttiness of pecan, and a touch of chocolate and caramel. This is everything I want from a dessert tea.

  • Blackberry Sage Oolong

    

Steeped at 212F for 5 minutes. This is quite berry forward with a nice, mellow sage toward the end of each sip. It has a natural sweetness that I quite enjoy. I will certainly be reordering this!

  • Peppermint Bark

    

A nice, sweet peppermint tea. I didn't really notice much chocolate in this but perhaps it was supposed to be a white chocolate flavor?

  • PEPPERMINT CUPPA CHOCOLATE TEA BAGS

    

It wasn't the worst tea, but there was something off about the chocolate flavor. I (embarrassingly) liked this more after it got a bit stale. I would drink it if offered, but I wouldn't repurchase.

  • Glazed Lemon Loaf

    

I HATE straight chamomile, so I panicked when I read the ingredients. Surprisingly this had none of those awful chamomile notes. It was surprisingly sweet and had nice lemon notes.

  • Refresh Mint

    

It's a tasty mint tea, but nothing extraordinary. A decent cup for the price, but not the best I've had.
