Rich AssamOkay black tea, nothing too special. The best thing about it is that pyramid sachets are convenient.
-
Rose ChaiI like rose, but this was way too rosy for me. Smells and tastes like soap. Couldn't get the smell out of my cabinet for days, and I'm just glad it didn't contaminate my other teas.
-
CARDAMOM - flavored black TEATried this on a whim and liked it. Same as the cinnamon, you can add other spices to this and make your own chai if you want.
-
CINNAMON HAZEIf you like cinnamon, you'll like this. If you want to doctor it up with other spices it's a decent base for chai.
-
PeppermintNot much to say beyond that it's a perfectly good peppermint tea. I keep some around for when my stomach's feeling upset. It helps.
-
Watermelon Lime ZingerIMO this is meant to be taken iced. Watermelon doesn't jive with me hot, so I've never had it that way. Make a pitcher of this and add some watermelon chunks or lime slices, and you're good.
-
Spiced Espresso ChaiThis is usually my first cup in the morning. I never thought I'd like the combination of tea + coffee as much as I do, but it's really good.
-
Almond SunsetYou know how you don't always like something at first, but then decide it's not so bad? That was this tea. The more I tried it though, the more I liked it. It's not bad.
-
Decaf Sweet Coconut Thai ChaiNormally I don't care for rooibos, but the coconut and spices do a nice job at masking the 'woody' flavor of the stuff, and make for a tasty coconut chai.
-
Sugar Cookie Sleigh RideIt's not bad, and has a nice cookielike flavor, but that's ONLY if you oversteep it. Use two bags and steep for 10 minutes, or else it'll taste like hot water that you dunked a cookie in for two seconds.
-
Cinnamon Apple SpiceIt's decent as a fall tea. The hibiscus is a bit strong, but it fades a bit as it cools and lets the other flavors shine through.
-
Coconut Grove PouchongA nice, light coconut tea. I usually drink it in the afternoon when I want some tea but don't want to go for a black tea.
-
Chai ChocolateSurprisingly chocolatey for a bagged tea. A little light on the spice like others have noted, but still good. Shame it's so hard to find around here though.
-
JoyI wish this wasn't seasonal. because it's so good. I have to stock up on it for the off-season until the holidays roll around again.
-
Chai Pumpkin SpiceGood in a pinch if I can't get any other pumpkin spice teas. It's drinkable, but has a bit too much licorice root for my taste tbh. Overshadows the pumpkin.
-
CHOCOLATE SPICEHard to find since almost nowhere stocks it, but nice. Not the most chocolatey tea around, but has a nice balance between the chocolate flavor and spices.
-
CONSTANT COMMENT BLACK TEA BAGSCheery, bright Christmas tea. I don't drink it as much as I used to, having moved on mainly to loose-leaf, but it's still nice once in a while.
-
ORANGE & SPICE HERBAL TEA BAGSSo Constant Comment without the black tea and plus hibiscus. ngl, I like it more with the tea than without.
-
GINGER SNAPPISH HERBAL TEA BAGSIt's alright, I guess. I liked it more when I was a kid, probably because I added a ton of sugar to it. Cinnamon-lemon with a bit of ginger.
-
PUMPKIN SPICE BLACK TEAA decent pumpkin spice tea as long as you don't oversteep it. When they say 2 minutes they mean it. The base tea isn't great and it starts overpowering the flavorings after that.
-
RASPBERRY ROYALEArtificial, candylike raspberry flavor. That doesn't mean its bad though. I like it more as an iced tea, since it's a bit cloying when hot.
-
Lapsang SouchongI don't really like lapsang to drink, but I do like using it in sauces and marinades. It adds a nice taste to most meats, and bagged tea is just the easiest way to go abut using it. Too lazy to strain out leaves.
-
English Breakfast LemonIt's okay, but like the other reviewer said, it's got a bit of a Froot Loops taste to it. Really not something I'd ever seek out again.
-
English AfternoonThis was my introductory tea when I was a kid, and I still find myself going back to it from time to time. Not the best, but still really drinkable.
-
English Breakfast Honey & VanillaI like to add a bit more honey to this just to boost the honey flavor a bit. Not much, since it's really sweet on its own. The only bad thing about it is that it's a little hard to find by me.
-
AMBESSA CHOCO NUT - 50 SACHET BAGI tried this once years ago, and all it really tasted like was chocolate and apricot. Not bad, but not what was promised. Harney's flavored teas tend to be either really good, or really weird in a bad way.
-
Gingerbread FestivalI wanted to like this. I love gingerbread, and this tea sounded amazing. Everything in it normally tastes good, and more importantly good together, but here it's awful. I tried different steep times, different temperatures, different amounts of mils and sugar but nothing makes it taste good. So disappointing.
-
VENETIAN TIRAMISUOof, this is a miss. I don't think I like Harney's chocolate flavoring so much, because it's not any better here than it was in their chai. Bought a small tin, couldn't finish it.
-
TOWER OF LONDONA bit on the lighter side, but still really tasty. I like taking it with honey to amplify the honey flavor that's already there.
-
HEIRLOOM BARTLETT PEARThis is so cozy and comforting on a dreary day. It's a very light tea, but has a noticeable spiced pear flavor.
-
CAPRIThis one's sold out a lot and I see why. It's really lovely. The lemon isn't fake-tasting or too strong, but blends nicely with the vanilla. Not much fig flavor though. I only really taste fig when there's an actual piece in the scoop.
-
Chocolate Chai SupremeNot my favorite. It's not that chocolatey, and in fact the chocolate flavor doesn't seem right. Waxy, maybe? It's weird.
-
PEACH & PASSION FRUITNormally I like Ahmad's flavored teas, but this one not so much. Something about it seems off to me.
-
APRICOT SUNRISESmells and tastes of apricot. It's almost peachy, but not quite, since it's a little more tart. Makes a good iced tea too.
-
ENGLISH TEA NO 1 BLACK TEASimilar to an Earl Grey in flavor. It's a good tea for a bagged supermarket brand, and does the trick if I don't want to or can't order anything online.
-
WHITE CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINTThis just tastes bad. It's very artificial and overly sweet. It might appeal to small children who don't know any better, but not anyone else.
-
Sweet Harvest PumpkinI don't know what the last reviewer meant by bitter, because this tea's anything but. It's really, really sweet. Too sweet if you add anything to it actually.
-
Floral NectarIt's nice, but a little too floral for me. Like "lavender panty sachet" flowery. I painstakingly picked out around half the lavender from my 1oz. package and found it to be quite pleasant.
-
Kashmir RoseI was excited to try this, but sad to say I didn't like it. It tastes harsh and soapy, and no amount of fiddling with the time and temperature made it any better.
-
Matcha BlueberryAdagio's blueberry flavor is always nice, I just wish it was a bit stronger here. It smells like it more than tastes like it.
-
Thai ChaiIf this tea taught me anything, it's that I don't really like lemongrass. Something about it mixed with the other ingredients just didn't work for me.
-
Peach TeaJuicy peach flavor, by no means artificial. It would make a very tasty iced tea.
-
Earl Grey LavenderLavender + vanilla and Earl Grey? Yes please. I think I like this even more than I do a plain Earl with just bergamot and no other frills.
-
Maple Creme OolongIt's not OMG MAPLE SYRUP IN YOUR FACE, but there's a mapley undertone to this. It's nice when blended with berry teas in particular.
-
Long Island StrawberryHeh, "leaf soup". I guess you can call tea that. It's nice, mainly strawberry and green tea. Not my favorite, but drinkable.
-
Creamy Earl GreyVanilla and creamy flavors just work so well with bergamot, and this is no exception. I think I'm liking cream Earls more than regular ones lately.
-
Orange SpiceI wish there were some actual spices in this, and not just flavorings. It's still a nice, bright citrusy tea, but the spice part of it is really subtle.
-
AlmondTastes and smells like marzipan. Just be careful not to oversteep it, or else it gets really bitter, really quickly.
-
CoconutCoconut is one of my favorite flavors, and this tea certainly tastes like it. It's sweet and creamy and really, really good.
-
Rooibos Pecan TurtleThe desserty flavors are wonderful, but it can't mask that rooibos completely. You get a sip of yummy chocolate, caramel and pecan, and then there's an aftertaste of sawdust. It'd be much better on a different base.
-
Spiced Apple Chai Iced TeaChai, to me at least, never works quite as well as an iced tea. This is no exception. It's fine hot, but not so good iced.
-
BlackberryThis is definitely blackberry. Not artificial blackberry either. This tastes just like blackberry jam in a cup, it's so good!
-
Strawberry TeaVery sweet and jammy. I actually like to add a bit of lemon to it to cut through the sweetness.
-
ButterscotchThis is good on its own, but amazing in blends. It's actually better at adding a buttery caramel flavor to teas than the caramel is.
-
HazelnutToasty, warm, and blends really well. It's not the best of the nutty teas (that's Chestnut), but it's a close second.
-
Earl Grey Bella LunaCoconut and Earl Grey go together better than I thought. Both the creamy flavors and the coconut help to soften out the citrusy bergamot and make it into something almost cakey.
-
Earl Grey MoonlightI love cream Earls. I know they're not traditional, but bergamot can be a sharp flavor and it helps take the edge off.
-
Lemon SoleilSmells stronger than it tastes. The lemon flavor comes off as a bit srtificial. Maybe if there were some lemon peels in it it'd be better.
-
Sweet Cinnamon SpiceTastes like an Atomic Fireball, which is good when I want something candylike. Definitely not an everyday tea.
-
Blackberry Sage OolongToo much sage. Way too much. The blackberry flavoring's alright, but it's almost lost under all of the sage.
-
Chocolate ChaiMy sister said it smelled like booze, and she's kinda right. Weird boozy smell aside, it tastes nice with milk and sugar.
-
Vanilla HoneybushMuch nicer than the vanilla rooibos. That ended up tasting too much like pencil shavings soaked in vanilla extract. The sweetness of the honeybush works well with the vanilla flavoring.
-
Licorice Spice Herbal TeaMy favorite herbal tea. Add some sugar and it's like black jellybeans in a cup. Nice for when I want something sweet after dinner and don't want to worry about caffeine.
-
Butterscotch BlondieNormally I like licorice, but not here. It overpowers the butterscotch flavor and just seems really out of place in this blend.
-
Apricot Vanilla CremeIt's really nice cold-brewed, especially considering how delicate it is. If you do want it warm make sure to brew it at a low temperature, or else it turns very bitter.
-
Vanilla Bean MacaronThis is really delicious. It's so sweet and vanilla-y. You don't need to add any kind of sweeteners to it at all; the vanilla flavor doesn't need anything to help it along.
-
Eggnogg'n Tea bagsBigelow's holiday teas are on the whole really disappointing. This is no exception. It's probably be better if it wasn't on a mixed black and green base.
-
Toasted Coconut Almond BarkI'm so disappointed by this. I love coconut, and the idea of this tea's really good. The actual tea though, not so much. There's too much going on, and I don't think a mixed green and black base was the best way to go.
-
FRENCH VANILLA TEA BAGSCanned cake frosting as a tea, and I don't really like canned cake frosting. It's alright if you add milk to it, but there're better vanilla teas out there.
-
Chocolate Strawberry Tea BagsIt kind of reminds me of a strawberry Tootsie Roll pop, and not a real, fresh chocolate-covered strawberry. Both the flavors are very artificial-tasting. It's okay, but not something I'd buy again.
-
Peach Melba Tea BagsThe fruit flavors are a bit cloying and artificial, but it's not bad. Definitely an unusual flavor too. I haven't seen to many peach-raspberry-vanilla teas.
-
Cranberry Tea BagsSuper-tart, but in a good way. You know, like cranberries are. If you want it to be a bit less intense, have it iced instead of hot.
-
ChocolateNot as good as chocolate chip or chocolate truffle, but I still enjoy it. It's got a nice --if slightly fakey-- chocolate flavor to it, and it's pretty good in blends with other teas.
-
Chocolate TruffleOh my god, this is so chocolatey and good! It's similar to the chocolate chip tea, but with an even more pronounced chocolate flavor.
-
Thai TeaNormally I don't take tea with milk, but this is an exception. So yummy and creamy and coconutty!
-
Ginger PeachI've yet to find a ginger peach tea that's got a good balance of ginger and peach. This is a perfectly nice *peach* tea, but the ginger is barely there.
-
Spiced Apple ChaiSo good for the fall! It's like apple pie in a cup, especially if you sweeten it. Alone it can be a little on the light side if you don't use enough tea.
-
FRUIT AND ALMOND HERBAL TEA BAGSThis is trying to be too many things at once. Like the other reviewers have said, it *should* be good, but it just isn't. The flavor's muddled and just no worth drinking.
-
STRAWBERRY VELVET CAKEI like this better than Ahmad's plain vanilla. Strawberry takes center stage, with the vanilla providing a creamy background note. Super yummy!
-
VANILLA TRANQUILITYNot one of my favorites. It reminds me of canned cake frosting more than anything.
-
LEMON & GINGERPerfect for when you're not feeling well. Add honey to it and it's warm and comforting. Or even if you're feeling fine; who says lemon and ginger only needs to be for when you're sick?
-
MANGO MAGICI love mango-flavored anything, and this is no exception. It's sweet and fruity and makes for a really nice iced tea!
-
Forest BerriesIt's got a very strong berry flavor, which I like. I've found it holds up just as well to being cold-brewed as it does to being hot.
-
Ginger Pear Tea BagsGinger pear's not as common as ginger peach, so I had to try it when I found it. It's really nice, sweet and warm thanks to the ginger.
-
SPICED CHAI BLACK TEA BAGSThis was the first chai I tried back in college, I liked it then and I still enjoy it now. It's just the right amount of spicy.
