i wanted to love this but i didnt i tasted butter more than anything else

  • Lemon Meringue Green

    

Loved this. Does not taste like a green tea at all. It is sweet, creamy with a dash of vanilla.

  • Double Ginger

    

This one was awful. The peppercorns were overwhelming despite removing what I saw and there were no other fruit flavors tasted that were listed as ingredients.

  • Black Tea

    

This is the tea where it all began for us and today I can’t imagine ever drinking this again.

  • Ti Kuan Yin

    

It didn’t taste like much and felt dry to the mouth. Perhaps with a heavy meal I would like it more.

  • Gyokuro

    

I just wish I could love green tea. Despite this one being higher quality I couldn’t get past the veggie taste.

  • Irish Breakfast

    

What’s their expression - strong enough for a mouse to stand on? A great pick me up morning tea but like most blacks watch the temps and don’t over brew.

  • Genmai Cha

    

Interesting green tea. Nutty and popcorns and very fun to look at.

  • Rooibos Vanilla

    

I like green rooibos but not red rooibos as in this case. The vanilla which I normally love does nothing to make this tea enjoyable.

  • Pumpkin Spice

Of all the holiday flavors, I liked this the least. It was just not for me.

  • Yuletide Toddy

    

I think this one was too everything. The orange ruined it for me.

  • Candy Cane

    

Such a sweet idea for Christmas. Cute little candy canes brew up a cozy winter brew.

  • Aphrodite

This had promise based on ingredients. But somehow the combo is strawberry and chocolate did not work in this tea.

  • Lemongrass

    

It’s ok. Nothing to rave about. Not very lemony. Needs something else. Probably a good sick tea.

  • Ooooh Darjeeling

    

I was disappointed. It had that “green “ oolong taste as a prefer the darker oolongs. Not for me.

  • Masala Chai

    

Very strong classic chai but too much cloves and cardamom.

  • Matcha

    

I appreciate the health benefits of this tea and would love to see a tea ceremony, but it stops there. Much too grassy for me.

  • Yerba Mate

    

Since I’m not a coffee drinker I didn’t care for it. No amount of sugar or cream could help it.

  • Chestnut

    

This was very pleasant. A cozy, warm nutty tea. Add cream and a bit of sugar makes for a nice drink.

  • White Darjeeling

    

It is to my knowledge that white teas should be brewed for a minute due to their fragility. This tea was very astringent no matter how much sugar was added and no floral notes were detected at all.

  • Green Chai

    

It was an interesting take on green tea. Milder than a black chai, however I enjoyed the white Ayurvedic chai much more.

  • Jade Oolong

    

Sweetly floral oolong. Very light in color. Temp brew makes all the difference.

  • Raspberry Patch

    

Although I brewed it iced for 10 minutes with sugar, it was not sweet and tasted like it was missing something. It did have a beautiful ruby color though.

  • Ceylon Orange Pekoe

    

Delicious. This is the tea we all grew up on only better.

  • SILVER NEEDLE WHITE TEA

    

Your classic top of the line white tea. Very light and delicate and healthy too

  • BLACK DRAGON PEARLS BLACK TEA

    

I first discovered this at Teavana. Just a few pearls makes for a smooth cup of tea.

  • WHITE AYURVEDIC CHAI TEA

    

One of the only chais I like. Very cinnamon-y. No caffeine and with all the antioxidants.

  • MONKEY PICKED OOLONG TEA

    

If you can afford it, this is the black tea to end all black tea. Truly the best.

  • Hojicha

    

Not your usual vegetal tasting green tea. Nutty and toasty. I added some sugar and enjoyed it.

  • Decaf Strawberry

    

This is a lovely tea. I made it hot and cold and added sugar. Both times the flavor was delicate and balanced. Perfect drink for summer.

  • Earl Grey Lavender

    

The Earl grey was softened by the lavender and cream. I added milk and sugar and it was a very nice drink.

  • Pu-Erh Poe

    

It was very fishy smelling and I gave it a rinse. That didn’t help as it was very unpleasant to drink and I threw the rest down the drain.

  • Ali Shan

    

This is an outstanding tea. When brewed at a low temp for two minutes the results are sweet, floral and delicious.

  • Pi Lo Chun

    

The leaves were light but tea brewed dark for a green tea. It was much too grassy for my liking and left a dry sensation on my mouth at finish.

  • Decaf Ceylon

    

This does not taste like a decaf black at all. It has less of the astringency of regular ceylon. Still good to have with milk and sugar.

  • Raspberry Green

    

Very tasty. I didn’t feel like I was drinking green tea at all. No grassiness but just the taste of sweet raspberries.

  • Green Rooibos Citron

    

I was expecting a lighter tasting tea but it tasted too bitter.

  • Jasmine Silver Needle

    

I felt the jasmine overwhelmed the delicate buds of the silver needle. I had to add a ton of sugar just to drink it.

  • Sencha Premier

    

I much prefer flavored green teas or green teas so very light and pale like Pi Lo Chan. I didn’t like this one but it’s a personal opinion and probably not the average one.

  • Decaf Blueberry

    

Very nice tasting drink. Not artificial or overwhelming. It’s a black tea no doubt with blueberry saying hello and it’s a nice combination.

  • Turmeric Bliss

    

Wow was this surprising. I did not expect to like this one. I am not a fan of peppercorns and took the two noticeable ones out. It was a fruity very tasty blend. I wish I had more.

  • Yunnan Noir

    

This is the perfect cup of black tea. It is smooth and sweet and everything you want a black tea to be. I added sugar and cream to make it even more delicious.

  • Berry Creme Compote

    

Smells great but it was a bit too sour for me. It had a weird off taste overall.

  • Cream Tea

    

I was expecting more from this but found it too sweet. It’s too sweet for breakfast tea yet not good enough to be a dessert tea.

  • Thai Chai

    

When I worked at Teavana they had a Thai tea that just had vanilla and coconut in it. Since I’m not big on chais, I watered this down a bit and chilled with milk, rock sugar and vanilla extract. It made for a very pleasant drink.

  • Daydream

    

I tasted all mint and lavender both of which are not favorites of mine. I wouldn’t purchase this for myself.

  • White Pear

    

It was a whole lot of nothing. I didn’t smell or taste the pear I was hoping for. It’s probably better blended with something else to bring out fruit flavor.

  • Jasmine Chun Hao

    

There are better jasmines out there. I found this one left a dry feel on my mouth and it was a tad too astringent for a jasmine.

  • Hunan Gold

    

I finally found a plain green tea that I like. It was very soft and almost sweet tasting and cleansing to the palette. Not grassy at all.

  • Jump Start

    

I didn’t like this at all. I added some sugar to it and shared it with my husband. He’s a coffee drinker and liked it.

  • Rooibos Mango

    

No no no. This was a hot mess. I didn’t taste any fruit at all and what I did taste was awful. Not even sugar helped.

  • Jasmine Yin Hao

    

This one completely blew me away. It wasn’t as floral as the jasmine pearls but slightly sweeter. I added sugar to smooth it out

  • Fujian Jasmine Pearl

    

This was a lovely, light, sweet floral tea. Sometimes jasmines can be “too much” but this one was good. I only used a few pearls too so it goes a long way.

  • White Chai

    

This is a fantastic drink and the only chai I like. I did brew for five minutes to bring out all the flavors. It is a lovely cup of cinnamon goodness.

  • Cha Cha

    

I am not a fan of camomile. The taste of it over powered all the flavors in the mix.

  • Chili Lime Green

    

This tea was just too much. I don’t like spicy foods and definitely don’t want to drink it. This was a big no.

  • Sleeping Dragon

    

I wish I liked green tea more than I do. I found this one too grassy. But it was fun to watch unfurl.

  • Peach Oolong

    

This is probably the best peach teas Adagio makes. Smells like a peach orchard and tastes like one too. It is liquid sunshine in cup. I added sugar to enhance the flavors.

  • Fujian Orchid

    

I enjoyed this tea. It was delicate and not grassy or smokey. It had a nice floral taste which was nice. I added some sugar to pop the flavor.

  • Milk Oolong

    

A very light oolong, pale in the cup. Simple and floral with a nice feel on the palette. Overall a nice cup of tea.

  • Blackberry Sage Oolong

    

This was such a nice surprise. I never “drank” sage before and the whole mix with the other fruits made for a delicious blend.

  • Fujian Ti Kuan Yin

    

Ok for an oolong although it’s quite simple, almost plain. There is a very light sweetness to it. I think it would go nicely when eating a meal.

  • Golden Turmeric Chai

    

Meh. Not a fan of chais in general and it was much too spicy for me. I got a lot of heat in the back of my throat. This is not something I would buy.

  • Summer Night

    

I had high hopes for this. The sample was filled with apples but it was overwhelmed with the flavor of orange and a hint of mint in background. It just didn’t work for me.

  • Rooibos Earl Grey

    

I keep trying to like Earl grey since it’s so classic but in this case the red rooibos didn’t help because I don’t like that either. All I could taste was a strong orange rind flavor. Perhaps if I had added creamer to it it would have tasted smoother.

  • Rooibos Jasmine

    

I did not like this at all. I didn’t smell or taste any jasmine, only rooibos which to me tastes like wet hay.

  • Chocolate

    

I’m iffy about chocolate teas. Many times they have an artificial taste or it’s too sweet. This one reminds me of a tea that’s trying to be hot chocolate. If I want hot chocolate I’ll make hot chocolate. It might pair better with a certain buttery pastry but just on its own it fails.

  • Silver Sprout

    

I’m not a fan of green tea but this faired better. It was slightly floral and not at all grassy. I brewed at 180 for 2 minutes.

  • White Strawberry

    

I loved this tea. The strawberry flavor was delicately sweet. This might be one of my favorite whites.

  • Tea-tox

    

I was surprised at this. At first taste it tastes of something familiar, perhaps a cough drop? But it tasted good whatever it was. The mint was there and blended well but I didn’t get the cinnamon until it cooled a bit. A nice surprise.

  • Rooibos Lemon Cloud

    

I can’t say that I have ever liked a rooibus tea until now. It smells wonderful like lemon and cream and tastes like that too. Just delightful.

  • White Grapefruit

    

I tried this and really liked it. It was very refreshing. I was surprised how much I liked it.

  • Pomegranate Green

    

Smells and tastes like raspberry but as it cools the pomegranate comes out. Slight astringency. A pleasant cup of green tea.

  • Yunnan Jig

    

One of my favorite breakfast teas. Hardly no astringency and goes down smooth.

  • Foxtrot

    

Meh. Camomile and peppermint are not favorites. The vanilla slightly smoothed it out but still meh. It’s a good night time tea for those inclined.

  • Cream

    

I thought I would like this more. It’s sweeter than I thought it would be.

  • Darjeeling Puttabong Summer

    

This was an excellent darjeeling. Very delicate and lovely.

  • Valentines

    

This was a big no for me but others may like it. The combo of strawberry and chocolate overwhelmed the black tea. And while I love fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate - this was just too much.

  • White Ayurvedic Chai

    

I am not a fan of almost all chais and I wish I was since they look so good. However this one was not so harsh and I handled the spice. It wasn’t all cloves or peppercorns. Perhaps it was the dominant taste of cinnamon that changed my mind.

  • Strawberry Tea

    

I was very surprised at this. Usually I’m not a big fan of fruity blacks but this one was a home run. I definitely would buy again.

  • Tiger Eye

    

Another great dessert tea. The combination of chocolate, vanilla and caramel makes for a delicious tea. I added a dot of sugar and some creamer which made it even better!

  • Honeybush Banana Nut

    

Nice dessert tea. It really does taste like banana bread in a cup without the mess and time of baking. No one can refuse this.

  • Peppermint

    

If you love peppermint you will love this. It really opens up your sinuses! I prefer my peppermint with chocolate but that’s just me. It’s really good when you have a bad cold.

  • Melonberry Green

    

I thought it would be better for a melon and fruity tea but I didn’t care for it.

  • Black Dragon Pearls

    

I always keep this in my pantry. It is a star and worth the price. You only use two-three pearls a cup and can resteep several times. It is very smooth and strong and makes for a great breakfast tea.

  • Spearmint

    

While peppermint is too sharp for me, spearmint is soft yet tasty. I love that it is delish on its own hot or cold and that it can be blended with other flavors to pop the flavor.

  • Teaster Marshmallow

    

I think it’s a “cute” tea and children would enjoy it. There are bits of sprinkles shaped like bunnies or ducks and the like. I heard good things about it but it mostly tasted like cream and sprinkles to me.

  • Chamomile

    

This is one of those tea flavors that everyone has heard about back when we were all drinking Lipton. I do not like the taste at all. It’s like a cup of weeds. And every time it’s an ingredient in another tea it’s flavor often ruins the rest of that tea.

  • Ginger Peach

    

I wanted to like it more but there was more ginger than fruit. I hardly tasted any peaches or apricot despite adding milk and sugar. The fruit notes did come out more when it cooled so perhaps it is better drunk iced.

  • Thai Tea

    

I was hoping for the Teavana version as that was a favorite of mine. But this has a couple of extra ingredients that didn’t hit the mark for me. Maybe I should have brewed at a lighter temp or had it iced like I did at Teavana but this disappointed me.

  • Ceylon Waltz

    

Just about as good as Ceylon Sonata. Your basic black tea. You can’t go wrong with either.

  • White Strawberry Basil

    

This is so lovely. Strawberries and basil work really well. White teas can be hit or miss but not this one. I added sugar. I had it hot and also had it cold and enjoyed it both ways.

  • Formosa Oolong

    

Very average for me. I’m getting a very nutty and earthy tasting the most. Like most oolongs, great for multiple infusions.

  • Silver Needle

    

The best of the best white teas and healthiest too. Delicately sweet and pure. Nice on its own or easily blended with just about any tea.

  • Assam Harmony

    

This was a lovely black. Strong and malty but not bitter. As with other blacks I smooth it out with milk and sugar.

  • Assam Melody

    

I love this tea. It’s the perfect morning tea. A splash of milk and dash of sugar makes this delish.

  • Dragonwell

    

Another green tea that I wanted to like but I didnt. Just very grassy and drying at the end of the sip.

  • Earl Grey Bella Luna

    

I’m not an Earl grey fan but I keep hoping that I will be. When this one came out with coconut and vanilla I figured I would try it. Although adding cream and sugar smooths it out, it’s just ok to me. I do love the tin it came in and the gimmick of buying it only once a month, my search for loving earl grey goes on.

  • White Eternal Spring

    

I really liked this white tea. Sometimes white teas tend to be flavorless not this one. All the flavors came together and some sugar made it pop. Healthy and caffeine free too.

  • Ceylon Sonata

    

This is my go to every day tea. It is my first thing in the morning tea and sometimes my while watching tv tea. Brew to 190 for 3 min ads milk and sugar and it doesn’t get any better. Pinkies up.

  • Almond

    

I love almond and was expecting more than I got from this tea. It just had a weird after taste. This is a no.

  • Lapsang Souchong

    

Oh boy no. Like drinking a barbecue pit in your mouth.

  • White Blueberry

    

It was okay. Whites can be hit or miss. Depends on the fruit and blueberries are not my favorite.

  • Jasmine Phoenix Pearls

    

There are good and better jasmines. Again you have to be careful with this or else you will wind up drinking perfume. Just a few pearls will do per cup and it’s a nice lovely cuppa.

  • Apricot Green

    

I am not a green tea lover. And I’ve tried several times. This one was very different and I was surprised at how much I liked it. The fruitiness changed everything and some sugar made it pop.

  • Yunnan Gold

    

Smooth honey like delicious black tea. Careful to brew. I was blown away the first time I tasted it.

  • English Breakfast

    

You really can’t go wrong with this. It’s your basic tea we all grew up with only better. It’s strong but not too strong. As with all black teas I under brew careful to not make it too bitter. I enjoy some sugar and creamer with it.
